[SFM] – We will rock you [Stvs Server Music Video]

Think about this for a moment before you answer. If music was free from music industry, in other words you could make all of the music that you wanted to make but no one would ever pay you a penny for it. Nothing for a download, nothing for a purchased CD no live performance fees for the band. Nothing. Would you still continue to write record and perform your music? Chew that over for a minute whilst I go grab an adult beverage.
Ok, so whats the verdict? If you said no, hell no or some other negative derivative, which equates to the same answer to that question, then you seriously need to get out of music industry and get a job in a factory. Music industry never has and never will be something that needs to be done with the end result being money. If you have come to that point in your career then it is time for you to get out of the business my friend. The money that you MIGHT make with your music is the icing on the cake. It is the year-end Christmas bonus from your tightwad employer that you never expected. It cant be the end all be all for your music making. If it has become that then you have lost the drive that makes your music have feeling.
Music industry is about spontaneous things. Like playing the song a little different every night live as a reaction to how the crowd is digging it. Its not about spot on sequenced notes that always happen the same time, the same velocity night after night. We are musicians and not robotic computers there for the club owner to control. I dont know about you but I would much rather be playing a solo live and have the little college girl in front of me be so into what I am doing that she just lifts her top to show her appreciation than I would to have her drop a hundred in the tip jar.
IT shows me that she appreciates all the hard work we are doing. Now if she tucks that hundred in somewhere that I have to go retrieve it, we are at a whole new level. But I think you get my drift. The old adage is that you cant see the forest for the trees applies well here. All too often we get so caught up in the mechanics of things that we forget about the human issue. So lets all just chill out and rock on shall we?
